flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Minor
flooding is already occurring in the advisory area,
particularly along Parcelas Vazquez Creek impacting PR-1.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

possible.

* WHERE...A portion of Puerto Rico, including the following areas,
Central Interior, Culebra, Eastern Interior, Mayaguez and
Vicinity, North Central, Northeast, Northwest, Ponce and Vicinity,
San Juan and Vicinity, Southeast, Southwest, Vieques and Western
Interior.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM AST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas. Area creeks and streams are
running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Shower and thunderstorm activity is forecast to continue
developing today, especially during the afternoon, affecting
affected areas. Most of the river and stream continues
running with high values and soils are saturated. Therefore,
the potential for flooding still present through this
evening.
