Lows will be around 15 degrees this morning and between 10 to 15 degrees Saturday night. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Arkansas, northeast Louisiana, and central, east central, north central, northeast, northwest, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Mississippi. * WHEN...For the Extreme Cold Warning, until 6 PM CST this evening. Extensive power outages and snow and ice cover persist from previous ice storm. This dangerous cold will only exacerbate the impacts felt in those affected areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong gusty winds of 30 to 40 mph will result in even lower wind chills at times this morning through today. This could complicate remaining power restoration efforts. |
