Description: At 935 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 2 miles south of Saint Onge to 8 miles
northeast of Tilford to 2 miles northeast of Box Elder. Movement was
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Northeastern Rapid City, southeastern Spearfish, Sturgis, Rapid
Valley, Ellsworth Air Force Base, Box Elder, Summerset, Whitewood,
Nisland, Saint Onge, Vale, Tilford, Hereford, Curlew Lake, Bear Butte
State Park, Apple Springs, Fort Meade, and Viewfield.

This includes Interstate 90 in South Dakota between Mile Markers 13
and 42, and between Mile Markers 60 and 71.

at 20 mph.
